Begin by having someone else take three basic measurements:
If in doubt overestimate to measurements by an inch or two! Also remember to add seam/hem allowance.

Step I-Pre-wash the fabric StepII-Fold the fabric with selvage edges together. Step III-cut two pieces of fabric the length of the A measurement. Step IV-at the top edge of the side with the selvage, cut equilateral triangles with the base being the length of measurement B.

Chemise Pattern, step 4-sewing the garment. Step I-Lay body(I) and sleeves (II) as in the image to the left. Step II-Sew garment together where triangle bases meet (this will form the armholes of garment). Step III-You may need to round out the neck line of garment. Step IV-Apply any trim before the seams are sewn. Try the garment on to make sure it fits and no other adjustments need to be made. |

Step I-Fold the garment so it looks like the image to the left. Step II-Sew seams long the black dotted line. Step III-You will be using drawstrings in the neck and the sleeve hems, sew two buttonholes where the drawstrings will be exiting the hem. Step IV-Then roll hem along the red dotted line
